Bandsintown Releases Enhanced Concert Discovery App: Exclusive

The concert discovery app ​Bandsintown is making it easier than ever before for its more than 35 million music fans to connect with its 420,000 registered artists with its latest update.

Bandsintown released Version 6.1, which sees the app’s most significant update in the last year with increased opportunities for big name, touring artists to communicate more directly with their fans and followers on the application.

, Lorde and Green Day, can now manage their “Artist Page” which displays all their “post to trackers,” a tool which allows artists and bands to set status updates sent to their fans to inform them of new music, tour dates, and express themselves in a more organic way. The posts musicians share will now appear on their artist activity page so that fans can follow along and see all that they’re sharing in an accessible format.

While Bandsintown Version 6.1 largely features an improved user experience to connect with artists, it also includes an extensive redesign that makes it easier for fans to navigate the app to find upcoming concerts and tours specific to their interests.

Version 6.1 of Bandsintown is available today in the iTunes app store and Google Play.
